This policy explains what information Clinch Chronicles ("we", "us") collects when you visit clinchchronicles.com, buy from our shop, contact us or book an episode, and how we use it. Questions? Email us at dan@clinchchronicles.com.
What we collect
When you order: your name, email address, phone number (if you give one), billing and shipping address, and what you bought. Payments are handled by Stripe. Your full card details go straight to Stripe and are never stored on our site; if you choose to save a card for next time, Stripe stores it.
When you contact us: the name, email address and message you send through the contact form. The form emails it to us.
When you book an episode: the details you enter in the booking calendar, which is run by Google Calendar.
When you comment on an episode: your name, email address, comment and IP address (used to stop spam).
Automatically: information about your visit, such as pages viewed, browser and device, through Google Analytics and the cookies described below.
How we use it
To take payment for, produce, ship and support your orders; to send order and shipping emails; to answer messages; to schedule recordings; to understand how the site is used and improve it; to prevent fraud and spam; and to meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Printify and its print partners, who print and ship your order (they receive your name, shipping address, contact details and order contents). Stripe, which processes payments. WooCommerce Tax, which uses your address to calculate sales tax. Google, for Google Analytics and the booking calendar. Shipping carriers, through Printify, to deliver your order. YouTube and Spotify, when you play an episode embedded on our site. Our website host stores the site and its data.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Cookies
Our shop uses cookies to remember your cart and keep your checkout session working. WordPress sets cookies if you log in or leave a comment. Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits and see how the site is used. Stripe sets cookies at checkout to help prevent fraud. Embedded YouTube and Spotify players may set their own cookies when you use them.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the cart and checkout need them to work.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and legal purposes. We keep messages and comments until they are no longer needed, or until you ask us to delete them.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing dan@clinchchronicles.com. Depending on where you live (for example California, the EU or the UK), you may have additional rights, and we will honour requests as the law requires. You can unsubscribe from any marketing emails using the link in the email.
Children
Our site and shop are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
